28 September 2002Our new simplified health careUnder our old, complicated, expensive health plan, the cheaper of my two Daily Drugs would cost me a $10 copay. Under our new, simplified, low-cost health plan, the cheaper of my two Daily Drugs costs me $23.50, which sum is then submitted to the Plan Czar, who applies the pertinent formula and then sends me a check for well, nothing, since I haven't met this year's overall deductible. Next year, if the rumors are true, in order to receive the maximum network discount, we have to have these prescriptions filled at a drug store in the Sudan.
