Where the listeners are

In the early-June numbers, news/talk KTOK still occupies the top slot. Not a whole lot is happening below that; Renda's three FMs are still in the top five, and the KATT continues to slump. At least we can assume Cam Edwards still has a job.

Well, KTOK picked up 0.2 points (to 7.0). Do two-tenths of one percent of radio listeners read blogs? Sounds about right.

Actually, thank God the number of listeners is far more than the number of readers.
Yes, I still have a job, and without getting into the specifics, the numbers for the KTOK's morning show are better than they've been in a long long time. I'm not taking full credit for that... news/talk stations around the country have seen ratings go up because of the war. Still, I'd like to think a small part of the numbers are based on what we we're doing in the morning.
