Well, I came across it naturally: I was getting ready to do my standard Carnival pitch, and I realized that not only had I not submitted anything, but I didn't know where it was this week.

After that, everything just sort of slid into place.

You're really dating yourself with that one. Any idea of the average age of your readers?

I have done no demographic studies on the reader base here, but I suspect that it skews slightly higher than average — maybe late thirties to early forties.

And, of course, were it not for dating myself, I'd have no dates at all.
