In the distance, more distance
Too much vegetation for Mars, and besides there's that big slab of something in the foreground; it must be US 385 in eastern Colorado.
The black, snaky substance on the road is the ever-popular temporary patch known to some of us as "I Can't Believe It's Not Tar." I think. I wasn't going to get close enough to it to find out, especially with trucks whizzing by every, oh, twenty minutes or so.Posted at 6:28 AM to World Tour '04
