25 December 2004Pieces of the actionThe Feds are complaining that the profits from the three Cheyenne-Arapaho casinos in the state are not being spent properly. Under an agreement with the Department of the Interior, tribal leaders have a template for disbursing the funds; the agreement has been challenged in court. While the casinos could theoretically be closed, the government has not yet imposed a deadline for compliance.
