Spent fury

So what did you buy today?

Didn't have time to shop today but I did make a point of buying a couple of things in the local convenience store.

Oh, these boycotts are so very clever (and effective!)

I bought some gasoline, some DVD labels, and darn near bought a CD/DVD/photo printer. If only the salespeople at Circuit City hadn't avoided me like the plague.

I stocked up on pickle brine, salted goobers,
and .45 caliber hollow points.
Fellate me, liberal asshats.

I had forgotten about the darn thing until about the time I posted this, and up to that point had spent a total of 75 cents on a package of Dolly Madison Zingers — so a quick trip to Amazon.com to finish off the day.

It was always thus: I got the looks, he got the babes.

Come to think of it, I didn't get much in the way of looks, either.

I picked up my special-order copy of Silent America (http://www.ejectejecteject.com).

We celebrated "Treat yourself right Friday". A bunch of us from work went out and each spent more for lunch than I would have had I gone out alone. One of the engineers went from there to Menards with a long shopping list.

I stopped off at the Samuel Society on the way home and got rather more sandwich fixings than had been specified by my CFO.

I'd filled the tank in both my car and the work Jeep just before this sillyness came to my attention.
