Where the babes are

Kimberly Swygert quotes P. J. O'Rourke:

"It's not that looks matter per se. It's just that beautiful women are always on the cutting edge of social trends. Remember how many beautiful women were in the anti-war movement twenty years ago? In the yoga classes fifteen years ago? At the discos ten years ago? On Wall Street five years ago? Where the beautiful women are is where the country is headed," said my friend.

To which I would add only the following observations:

1. The Neighborhood Association, and therefore the neighborhood, has been getting a steady influx of Major Babes;

2. There are an awful lot of extremely attractive females on my blogroll, most of whom got there long before I had any idea that they were extremely attractive.

Yes, I am that superficial at times. Thank you for noticing.

Two points to make:

1. I've noticed that Republican events are abundantly blessed with attractive women of all ages. Last week's Tulsa County convention was no exception.

2. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. http://www.tymoshenko.com.ua/eng/photo/

of course the democratic sides has those earthy type women ... the kind you would REALLY take home to ... wherever ... AND they don't tell you how to drive getting there :)

Isn't PJ O'Rourke the actress that was kinda popular in the 70s and starred in such classics as "Carrie" and "Halloween?" Oh wait. That's PJ Soles.

I know, I know. She's the little girl in "Poltergeist." Oops, can't be. That's Heather O'Rourke, and she's dead.

AND they don't tell you how to drive getting there

But God help you if you drive them there in an SUV.
