23 March 2005Hobson choosesFor twenty-seven years Cal Hobson, a Lexington Democrat, has served in the Oklahoma legislature, twelve in the House, then moving up to the Senate, where he became President pro tempore in 2003, about the time he first acknowledged that he was struggling with the slings and arrows of alcoholism. Today, Hobson is expected to step down from his leadership position.
