Am I down with G.O.P.?

Well, partially:

I am:
58%
Republican.
"Congratulations, you're a swing voter. When they say 'Nascar Dad', they mean you. Every Republican ad on the TV set was made just for your viewing pleasure. Don't you feel special?"

Are You A Republican?

Hmmm. Actually, no, I don't feel particularly special, but thank you for asking.

If you promise not to tell anyone, I scored a 98%. I'm very concerned about that last 2%. It said, "You're the perfect sycophant of the Republican elite. Tom DeLay and Karl Rove would be utterly proud of you." Everything I strive for.

With just a little work...I scored a 142%. I just dreamt what the answers would be in a utopian world. It said, "You think the Klan and the Nazis are too soft. Probably because they let in too many closet gays." Wow...like it was reading my mind!

I saw this thing at Beth's and said, "I'll bet I score just over 50 percent on this thing." Before I saw any of the questions.

Then again, I am a registered Democrat, much to the dismay of some.

My score was in the mid 80s. Nobody's going to be surprised about that. Oddly, the results description accused me of listening to too much AM talk radio.

There's really only one such show that I listen to. Well okay, one and a half -- but the "half" is mainly because I don't jump right up and change the station as soon as the "one" ends.

Posted by: McGehee at 7:38 AM on 3 May 2005

Not to my dismay! :)

21% here.

Ew! Liberal cooties!

Posted by: McGehee at 12:21 PM on 3 May 2005

Hey, some of my best friends are liberals.

(Geez, they're right; that does sound lame.)

You are:
20%
Republican. You're probably one of those people who still thinks that getting a blowjob is not an impeachable offense.

Gotta love an answer that includes a blowjob reference.

Posted by: aldahlia at 6:30 PM on 3 May 2005

There are never enough blowjobs to go around, or something like that.

51%... ...and Republicans make sense about half the time. I wonder what I'd score on a test like this about Democrats, who make sense less than half the time but do quite well when they oppose whatever the Republicans are doing.

Posted by: Chris at 10:44 PM on 3 May 2005

Sooner or later, someone will write such a test. Count on it.

Posted by: CGHill at 7:30 AM on 4 May 2005

50% here.. Not a swing voter, though. Not a voter at all. I am exercising my right to not choose among the choices given (since I can't write-in my own here).

Terkish Payne, the party system is beyond tainted anyway, don't get me started.

69%:
I bet you'd like Democrats okay if they wouldn't keep handing out your paycheck to urban welfare cheats, right? (And you probably don't want me to be saying anything about "urban" being some kind of code word, I bet.)

I'm just happy to have something in my life with 69 in it. If only it had said 42. Oh my, where's my towel?

Posted by: Joe at 3:45 PM on 5 May 2005

88 %

However, there were a few that had me looking for the "None of the above" button. And no, I don't listen to a lot of AM talk radio, I work in a data center and we just about can't get ANY radio.
