Not that there's a thing in the world wrong with being 25 years old, but inasmuch as my daughter is about to turn 27, a fact which injects a certain amount of creepiness into the dynamic as I perceive it (cf. Steely Dan, "Hey Nineteen"), I shy away from women that age, or would if any of them showed the slightest interest, which of course they don't. Does this qualify me for a fourth type? Well, being another divorced male with daughter, my rule of thumb was that I wouldn't date anyone younger than halfway between our ages. Not just because it would be strange to date someone much younger than that, but also because we wouldn't have sufficient in common to have good conversations.
