4 November 2005Tomlinson departs CPBFormer Corporation for Public Broadcasting chairman Kenneth Tomlinson has resigned from the CPB board, possibly in expectation of an unfavorable finding by the CPB Inspector General, which has been investigating some of Tomlinson's spending on outside consultants. Tomlinson came under fire earlier this year for what he described as attempts to correct political bias in PBS progamming; I speculated here that his real goal was to oversee the dismantling of CPB.
