5 January 2006Selective editingIt's no particular secret that you can block most of those unsolicited credit-card offers with a phone call: 888-5-OPT-OUT. Unfortunately, what I want is to block one particular card issuer who has cheesed me off more often than I'm willing to endure, without necessarily killing the flow from other issuers who might have favorable deals. I suppose I'm going to have to write them and complain. At some point, inasmuch as I've overhauled my plastic portfolio twice in the last six years, I ought to sit down and write a summary of my experiences with the Big Boys in the industry which is almost all of them now. So commence, already. Stop procrastinating or we'll have to start charging initerest. Or we'll start losing interest. Whichever is funnier. Posted by: Mister Snitch! at 1:41 PM on 5 January 2006I'd be really interested to hear about your experiences. Posted by: Erica at 6:48 PM on 6 January 2006Is the bad credit card company Capital One? I swear to God I feel like I'm being persecuted by Capital One. I must hear from them a minimum of twice a week. Posted by: Rachel at 8:17 PM on 6 January 2006 |
