3 February 2006A Friday frolicWhich is by way of saying that I got nothin' much this morning, and feel free (without violating the usual considerations of taste and/or slander) to add something of your own. Posted at 7:45 AM to BlogorrheaYou have two other items already and you "got nothin' much?" Most of us are good just to type in our passwords every morning. Posted by: Joe Goodwin at 12:25 PM on 3 February 2006It's a matter of perception. Donna thinks I do 100 posts a day, which is about 93 point something too high. Frolic is a great word. And good exercise, too, I'd think. Erm, nope. I got nuthin' either. Posted by: Jennifer at 3:30 PM on 3 February 2006Ok, so I was 93 off-- I always thought of you as prolific! Posted by: Donna at 5:37 PM on 3 February 2006There's prolific, and then there's prolific. Glenn Reynolds puts out four times as many posts as I do. On the other hand, a substantial percentage of his consist of a link and either "Heh" or "Indeed." Heh. Indeed. Posted by: Joe Goodwin at 6:04 PM on 3 February 2006Besides, I had a heavier-than-average work day and a WordPress upgrade (to 2.0.1) on that other site. You make it sound as if the WP upgrade was a bit of a chore. How did it go? Posted by: MikeH at 11:08 PM on 3 February 2006Actually, it wasn't that bad; a lot of files to upload, of course, and then a database upgrade. Twenty minutes tops. Then again, that's a small site fewer than seventy posts. And I'd do 100 posts a day if I could get someone to write me a check for $12 for each one. Posted by: CGHill at 8:18 AM on 4 February 2006 |
