9 February 2006Quote of the weekFrom James Joyner, on a theme I've surely mentioned before:
Not only has it never occured to me that beauty and brains are mutually exclusive indeed, my experience has almost always been that when it rains, it pours but I can't even imagine what one might do with a stupid woman on the second night. Well, certainly, the second week.
Suggestions, within reasonable bounds of decorum, are welcomed. (By me, not by James, who is happily spoken for.) Posted by: John Salmon at 8:34 PM on 9 February 2006I have a low threshold of contentment, If the dim-witted lass had workable orifices...well, there you go.... Posted by: McGehee at 9:35 AM on 10 February 2006There's an overlooked factor here: Kindness and affection could compensate for a deficit in either the brains or the beauty department. If you had sweet and cute, smart wouldn't seem so important.
