Filling the middle of the horseshoe

Oklahoma City elects a Mayor today, and it's widely expected that the winner will be incumbent Mick Cornett.

Still, that's no reason to stay home. If you're backing Bob Waldrop or Joe Nelson, you need to be there for him. And if you're happy with Cornett, you need to tell him so.

This is technically a primary election: if no one receives a majority, the top two will face a runoff on the fourth of April.

I didn't want to bring this up, but from my horse days, I remember the middle of the horseshoe being filled with horse manure quite often.

No commentary on people, just something I remember.

How boring! Don't you wish OKC had the excitment of Tulsa's election?

Let's just hope that Tulsans are cleaning house today.

Surely they'll get more turnout; at just before 5 pm I cast the 88th ballot in my precinct, which doesn't sound impressive in the least.

Oh shit . . I saw the "VOTE HERE" signs all over the place but thought it was only a minor issue election and ignored it. That's what I get!
