Excellent round up.

One of the glass galleries we visited in the Berkshires had a large number of Chihuly pieces on display. Very impressive, thought they didn't show a broad thematic range. Incidentally, another glass artist to watch is Charles Miner, whose specialty is cast textured glass. His pieces usually look Etruscan or Roman, because of the lead crystals in his glass formula.

If you want more Chihuly with your Florida, a permanent exhibition of his art will be in charming/funky downtown St. Petersburg soon. He wowed the locals so much that they want to keep his stuff around indefinitely.

I was wondering if Chaz was going to comment on the Conservative Rock list. I was sorely tempted, but didn't want to come off as unavoidably snarky about it.

Sometimes snarky is exactly what you want.

Incidentally, one of the largest single permanent Chihuly collections is right here in the City.

Having grown up in Philadelphia, I can tell you "prettiest girl in Philly" is akin to "best Harpo Marx vocal".
