<description>Once upon a time, Palatino was my BFF for typefacing. I think it got dropped from the Word bundle at some point, and I moved on. (It&#039;s back in there for Word 03, but the glow is gone.)

Glad to hear someone else anti-HTML in email. And we wonder why spam/phishing spreads so relentlessly.

<description>Download it from &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.openoffice.org/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;OpenOffice.org&lt;/a&gt;. It&#039;s worked with every Word, Excel and PowerPoint document I&#039;ve fed it.

<description>I&#039;m wiping tears of laughter from my eyes. The riduculousness of the whole construct aside, the typefaces chosen are hilarious. This is like asking people which they find more pleasing...
1. a puppy
2. a puppy being run over
3. a puppy on fire.

Ditto on HTML in regular email. BTW, who the hell sends you a newsletter as a Word doc? Really?! I have a new tirade to work on. :)
