In a fowl mood

We have here Teija Vesterbacka, wife to Rovio head Peter Vesterbacka, in a dress that commemorates the company’s most popular product:

Teija Vesterbacka in an Angry Birds dress

Which may or may not have something to do with this:

Rovio is about to open the world’s first official Angry Birds retail shop in Helsinki.

Hello Kitty, watch your back.

I wonder how close I am to being the last person left who’s never played Angry Birds? I need to know when to call the Guinness people.

I’ve never played it either. I read up on it, and it doesn’t sound like anything I’d like. Exploding birds make me sad. I *like* birds. Even when they crap on my car.

I’ve never played the game either. But I have to admit that that ballgown is pretty awesome. It’s like what I would want to wear if I had to wear a ballgown somewhere.

I want to see a wider-angle shot of that scene.

Ms. Vesterbacka doesn’t seem pleased to be there. If I saw that expression on the face of a woman I was escorting, I would conclude that I needed to go immediately in search of alcohol, chocolate, and/or Dr. Scholl’s shoe inserts, and something for her, too.
On the other hand, the other two people in that picture seem more or less equally dyspeptic, and I wonder if that was general in the group. If so, I think I’m glad I wasn’t invited to that party. It doesn’t look very cheery.

    Regards,
    Ric

McGehee, and Andrea, you are not alone. I have never played (or witnessed it being played) Angry Birds … or it’s precursor “Anti-social Eggs”, for that mater. Frogger is about as good as it gets for me.

I don’t play it either. I just look over my husband’s shoulder when he’s playing it.

If there’s a Frogger-inspired ball gown out there, I’m not sure I want to see it.

    Let’s say it’s not pleased.

And now the Shoe Girl has happened upon some Angry Birds sneakers.

And just to prolong the thread, FAILBlog’s Poorly Dressed has a shot from a different angle, in which no one looks any happier.

That is an unfortunately-placed pupil on the eyeball of that dress…

In that case, you don’t want to be looking at the Angry Boobs Bra.
