What older blogs exist, besides, say, Jerry Pournelle’s?

If I remember correctly, McGehee was doing this a couple months before I was, though I can’t keep track of his archives.

Steph Mineart’s Commonplace Book was definitely running in 1995.

I didn’t actually start blogging until 2002. I had my own website in 1996 but I didn’t have regularly updating content until much later.

…I do have pre-2002 content preserved in my archives now, but that was originated for email distribution and then preserved on the website after the fact.

Well, that’s one way to do it.

Haven’t heard a word from the Instant Man today, but then I didn’t expect to.

geez. In 1996 I was barely aware of computers let alone websites of any kind.
Got a home computer in 2004 (still using same) and started my blog in 2006.
I think I qualify as a slow learner.

Congrats on your sixteen years and may there be many more to come!

Well I won’t be on the architecture tour, but seeing as how our real life space likely overlaps, we should have dinner sometime.
    Congrats on 16 years!

[...] Even if I had been making my pixel footprint, your time would have been better spent reading CGHill over at Dustbury who just so happens to be celebrating 16 years on the Al Gore’s [...]

I don’t know when I started reading you, but it’s been a while. I’ve always considered you an inspiration, and any accolades you receive are well deserved, IMHO!
