Feed issues

For some reason, Google Reader quit pulling this site’s RSS feed over the weekend, and they’re providing no advice on how to fix the matter — because, obviously, it’s not their fault.

But various Blogger widgets that rely on the feed aren’t being updated either. I’m guessing, judging by a peek at the Feed Validator, that you were getting a cached copy of the feed.

Sorry, folks: you may actually have to come to the site once in a while.

I guess you embarrassed them into fixing it, because it just showed up. I figured you were all hungover from OKC beating up on the senior-citzen Mavericks.

Well, there was that, but I figured I could help matters along by some tweaks at this end, one of which was an instruction to the cache: “Ignore the feed.” Since I’d never set it to cache the feed, I have no idea why it was doing it in the first place: perhaps a, um, program enhancement.

It seems to be working just fine now. I think you intimidated them, Chaz!
