Why are things so screwed up? The more I think about it, the more I feel like blaming two naked humans and a snake.

    My “neighborhood” seems to be populated by roughly equal numbers of people who give a damn and people who don’t. Fortunately we’re a little more than arm’s length from each other so it doesn’t matter.

    I’ve read theologians who suggest that nearly all of what we call sin can be traced to simple selfishness, and I’m inclined to agree. I suppose “not giving a damn” can be seen as a form of selfishness.
