According to my sources, it’s sunrise at Chechen Itza, which is at 6:26 am our time. Six hours to go.

I figured since the reason the calendar ends today is the winter solstice, the end of the world would happen when that happened.

It happened two hours and 17 minutes ago.

So, either the world didn’t end, or it did and I just can’t tell the difference.

I’m going to be commenting on these Mayan apocalypse threads like there’s no tomorrow.

I’m at the point where if two or more people, no matter how many millions that more might ultimately be, agree about something that would be truly earth changing, I’ll consider them mistaken from the get go.

Sadly, but seriously, I have become a total cynic of my fellow man.

These days, if you’re not cynical, you’re evidently not paying attention.

Looks like I’m late for the Apocalypse thread. But then again, so is the Apocalypse. Or is that Apocalapse?
