The ultimate anti-productivity weapon

All but two of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s polka medleys, synchronized to vintage live video, in a single 37-minute burst:

The two holdouts: “The Hot Rocks Polka,” an all-Rolling Stones set from the UHF soundtrack album, and “Bohemian Polka,” which surely needs no explanation. I assume that there was no live footage for either.

Oh, and if you’re keeping score, here’s the list.

(If this doesn’t improve my “time per page view,” nothing will.)

He does put on a hell of a show. I caught the tour for Running With Scissors. Nearly 3 hours non-stop, tons of costume changes for the whole band, and they went through most of their songs (except Albuquerque, which is another 14 minute masterpiece) at the time. One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen live.

I knew only 3, the 1st one and a couple in the middle (at 14:45 and right after that one). Familiarity breeds comfort with these.

Too bad, I love Hot Rocks Polka. One of the highlights of the UHF soundtrack.
