Upon further examination

Did you ever go back and reread something you wrote several years ago? And if so, did you feel compelled to make excuses for so doing?

I’ve read it. My excuse was that I was young and foolish. (Now, I’m old and foolish?)

Nope, everything I’ve written was for educational use, lesson plans, scoring checklists, learning and task analyses and they all held up pretty well until the hardware they were based on changed.

Now if we’re talking blog comments, well, umm, err… Cheap bourbon made me do it… Sorry Transterrestrial Musings, Dustbury, and alla youse guys at PJM, et al. ;) I was drunkbloggin before Herr Green made it kewl.

I go through my archives to try to figure out just how the hell I came up with such good stuff in such volume so consistently.

The best answer I’ve been able to come up with is, ignorance. The more I know, the less I have to say.

Which makes sense, I guess; none of us will ever know everything until we’re dead, and at that point we’ll have nothing at all to say.
