Melissa displays it all

I have occasionally expressed discomfiture over the appearance of Hervé Léger’s Bandage dress, which to me suggests really stylish mummification. On the other hand, Melissa Joan Hart seems to grasp the Zeitgeist here, and by “here” I mean at the premiere of Disney’s Frozen:

Or maybe she’s the only one who managed to get it in the correct size.

Random stumbled-upon biographical bit: Apparently MJH is named for an Allman Brothers song.

Or maybe it just works better worn by someone with an actual figure.

Feast your Vulcan squinties on Jennifer Love Hewitt, and then try to tell me she’s an ironing board.

JLH isn’t an ironing board, but her curves are not flattered by that dress.

MJH’s curves are smoother, or perhaps she chose her undergarments better.

What’s so bad about being named for an Allman Brothers’ song?

I’d have a daughter with that distinction, but her mother had other ideas, and I’ve never successfully deterred her yet, once she gets the bit in her teeth.

    So it goes…..

Nothing at all bad about it — just an observation.

My daughter almost wound up as Penelope Layne, an adjustment of a Paul McCartney travelogue title. Repeat: almost.
