    It made more sense than doing it chronologically, since some places were lived in more than once.

    If I thought of them as a list, yes. But what got projected on the inside of my head was not a list, but a map — and maps lend themselves to the sort of data manipulation I did.

    I once took all the ZIP codes involved, from 01433 to 90254, and took the average. Put me in 58194, which, were it assigned, would belong to Fargo, North Dakota.
