Another one that caught me was the Drifters’ “Under the Boardwalk”; the stereo track, presumed to be intended for LPs, closes each chorus but the last with “We’ll be making love under the Boardwalk, Boardwalk.” On the single, all the choruses end with “We’ll be falling in love…” (Which frankly I prefer, and not just for the familiarity factor.)
