Built for the long run

I snagged this ad in the sidebar at, um, Equestria Daily:

Online advertisement for Cree bulbs from the Home Depot

This is August. Is anyone even wearing pantyhose?

    “Is anyone even wearing pantyhose?”
    Certainly not here in Florida!

No, certainly not, and if anyone is they need help.

I didn’t even know Home Depot sells pantyhose!

Makes a dandy strainer for certain household chemicals. (The ones that won’t dissolve it, anyway.)

I hear that they’re good for tying up tomato vines. I haven’t tried it myself.

I have been told of one instance where a stocking (single leg) was pressed into service as an alternator belt.

Oh, that’s just wonderful. PP being primarily a British brand, I never got to see that spot during my, um, formative years, and at this point, it’s probably just as well.

And “Move Over Darling” is a sweet little song, plucked from a 1963 Doris Day film and covered just as sweetly by Tracey Ullman two decades later.

I don’t presume to know that much about you from reading your blog but I thought that commercial hit a few notes that resonated with things from the blog:
    -attractive woman (well dressed too)
    -sexy legs with hose
    -fancy car
    -automotive repair
    -good song

Five for five. You, um, chose well. :)

I’ve never seen an XJ120 up close. A friend of mine tells me that her dad owned one back in the 1950s, but it’s long gone. (And a lady who can drive a stick is just that much more desirable.)
