As far as I know the drive would boot a computer -- just not the one it originally came in. I don't know why. Maybe someday I'll get adventurous and try it in Bugbox 5 just for the heck of it. When the of things actually working the way they're supposed to, has worn off. I give it about three months before that happens. Four, tops. It's had a long time to build up.
