This needs a name

But for now, I’m calling it “Miriam’s Law of Mystery Stories”:

In any room, no matter how little furnished, there is something that can be fashioned into a weapon in less than 10 minutes.

The wise murderer should modify his behavior accordingly.

    The A-Team always seemed to pick really stupid adversaries who thought nothing of locking up trained soldiers in a tool shed packed with power tools and heavy equipment.

    Also, IIRC, no one who ever shot at any member of the A-Team had the slightest clue as to how to aim.
