You shouldn’t have to. I don’t use a Bluetooth headset, so I can’t guarantee it. Even if you do have to disconnect (or whatever) your connection between your headset and your phone, it should reconnect again automatically, since it has paired with it before.

I’m quite certain that you won’t have to unpair your headset. I expect to get a Bluetooth headset for Christmas, so I’ve had to resist buying one…

You can find a USB cable online, but a Bluetooth dongle will work as well, and is usually much cheaper than the “pop port” cable that is needed for the 6133. You can find a Bluetooth dongle at any of the local big box stores like Best Buy or CompUSA. I believe I paid about $10 for mine last year, and I use it to put ringtones on my 6133, as well as to transfer photos from the phone to the computer.

I’ve hit upon yet another expedient: Nero (infamous for their Burning ROM) packs a Wave Editor with the full package. Give it an MP3, and it turns it into a WAV, albeit not exactly the original (lossy compression is like that); there’s an option to save as a WMA.

Which leaves one irritant: I still need to come up with a USB cable for this phone, and apparently its USB connector is nonstandard.

I ran into the same problem with my 6133. I found the WinLAME encoder works well, and is a free download. Since the phone doesn’t need a high bitrate for ringtones, I encoded mine at 128k. My resulting ringtones sound great (for cellphone ringtones) on my 6133.

Good luck downloading! I vaguely remember the B.C. Clark jingle, from those halcyon days at OU. Unless it’s a new jingle.
Are you familiar with the ‘Galaxy Glue’ jingle from “The Incredible Shrinking Woman”, Charles?
Now there’s a jingle never to ever leave my mind.
