No, you weren’t dreaming
For about five minutes this afternoon, the old Movable Type front page was visible. I was screwing around with some stuff behind the scenes on that platform and, not once but twice, managed to generate a copy of the index page. (And if it’s rebuilding the front page twice for a single item rebuild — well, no wonder it was taking five minutes for a single comment to get posted.)
I am not, incidentally, contemplating taking down both sets of MT archives (’02-’06; ’06-’08), even though the second set is now duplicated in WordPress. (Although I wonder what would happen if I just said screw it and punched the Delete Blog command.)
