Patterico tears Andrew Sullivan a new one:

There is a pattern here, and it is not a pattern of studied reflection and wry, deadpan commentary. It is a pattern of jumping to conclusions like a teenaged girl screaming OMG!!!11!1! at every idiot rumor out there.

I deemed Sullivan to be “shrieking and hysterical,” not out of homophobia, but rather because he is shrieking and hysterical.

    RRrrealleh! I keep reading stuff about ol’ Freaky Andy and wonder why anybody pays any attention to him any more. I mean, I think he went off the rails back in the run up to Iraq. Why waste your time?
