Lovely visual of the week
I generally avoid television, but there’s a set in the break room, and it’s been my misfortune to have caught the advertisement in question more than once — during lunch, yet.
So I regret to inform you that I know what she’s talking about:
I really hate those Mucinex commercials because they’re so true. That green dude and his entire green trash family have moved in and will not be evicted. I think they’re breeding too, because if snot was an alternative energy source Nettl and I could keep a city of about 5,000 lit up for a year.
One can only hope. Imagine: green energy that’s literally, well, green.
(Seriously: get well soon. You need your head for things other than sniffling.)

Thanks! I’m much better, but I’m still going through enough Kleenex to wipe out a small forest in Oregon.
This particular strain is a nasty one!

I remember fondly the flu I had years ago that ended with a sinus infection that sent the taste of death dribbling down the back of my throat for weeks.
Now every day I don’t experience that, is a day for which I know I should be grateful.
Not that I am, I just know I should be.

I loathe the Mucinex commercials, but I will say it’s a pretty good med. I can’t take decongestants and it’s the only thing that actually gets the crud out of my head or my chest.
I wish it was around when I was a little kid, and was congested nearly year-round. (One of the benefits to having had braces: as my teeth moved into better alignment, my sinuses stopped being so screwed up)

Equate Tussin is the same guaifenesin as Mucinex, but MUCH CHEAPER and tastes less awful.
