Equate Tussin is the same guaifenesin as Mucinex, but MUCH CHEAPER and tastes less awful.

I loathe the Mucinex commercials, but I will say it’s a pretty good med. I can’t take decongestants and it’s the only thing that actually gets the crud out of my head or my chest.

I wish it was around when I was a little kid, and was congested nearly year-round. (One of the benefits to having had braces: as my teeth moved into better alignment, my sinuses stopped being so screwed up)

I remember fondly the flu I had years ago that ended with a sinus infection that sent the taste of death dribbling down the back of my throat for weeks.

Now every day I don’t experience that, is a day for which I know I should be grateful.

Not that I am, I just know I should be.

Thanks! I’m much better, but I’m still going through enough Kleenex to wipe out a small forest in Oregon.

This particular strain is a nasty one!
