Speaking of Zappos.com (as we were, a couple days ago), they now have one of those limited-edition Monopoly® sets, with gameplay much as in the original — the yellow group (Atlantic, Ventnor, Marvin Gardens) is now Asics, Nike, New Balance — and a Good Cause lurking in the background: the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, which benefits from the sale.
Fifty-one bucks. And because it’s Zappos, three of the playing pieces are shoes.

$51? My wife made Yukonopoly as a fundraiser for the Yukon school district and it’s half that price ($25). Wow, that turned into a unintended plug rather quickly.
No shoes involved, but if you’re in the Oklahoma City Metro area, my wife and I will deliver the game boards personally. Let’s see Zappos do that.
