At 61, I can still wear a dress like that but I don't because I'm uncomfortable showing that much skin topside -- my mother taught her lessons in modesty well -- and straps keep me feeling a bit more secure. On the other hand, I still wear my skirts on the short side -- mostly because I'm too tall. They make clothes for women who are about 5'6". LOL I think she looks wonderful!
