I had an Uncle Bill who bought an Edsel new. I remember seeing the car once when I was little, probably when I was about 8. He had to make some kind of serious repair to it. He must have driven from Cleveland to Seattle to see us.
Heh. The one they have for Sacramento would have been demolished (if it still stood) for construction of one of Sacramento’s first freeways.
I confess to being astonished there was apparently one in Fairbanks. I guess the print ads (or dealer marque) for the one that must have been in Anchorage have yet to be found.

Ha! That’s wonderful.
Maybe I read too many things like the Thursday Next novels, but I can almost imagine a world where Edsels and the internet actually co-existed.

For what it’s worth, there was still a Hudson dealer in 1998.
The last Hudsons were built in 1957.
