Don’t fear the clanger

Inasmuch as no one ever asks for less cowbell, there now exists something called MoreCowbell.dj, in which recordings lacking this essential instrument can be corrected after the fact.

For instance, Mantovani’s “Games that Lovers Play”:

  Make your own at MoreCowbell.dj

I apologize for the noise burst at the end: this song ends with a fortissimo not really worthy of, say, Haydn’s “Surprise” Symphony, but enough to confuse their automated Cowbell Injection System™.

I attempted to send the canonical Mamas and Papas recording of “California Dreamin’” to these guys, but was rebuffed. (I encourage you to try on your own, on the off-chance that my own file is Too Weird Already.)
