Maybe I'm a Philistine, but I prefer my "entertainment" to be, you know, actually ENTERTAINING. If I wanted to be told in detail how the world was going to Hell, I have (at last count) five all-news channels I can watch. I had actually contemplated taking out a subscription to HBO (they are doing a series of "The #1 Ladies' Detective Agency" but I get the feeling that's the only thing I'd be watching on there. (I'll wait for the dvds) I presume this series is being presented as “entertainment” (seeing as HBO is not exactly in the talk-television business)?
