Finally Acme gets some competition

Gravity by Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co.

This is a good, useful product, one of the best in Brooklyn’s growing product line, though they have a long way to go to catch the all-time market leader. Then again, mighty Acme started out with but a single offering: the anvil.

Well, that anvil ad may very well explain where Chuck Jones got the idea to use that company name. I was expecting the link to show a cartoon anvil, not one actually for sale.

As of now, they’ve 403’d that link, barring external hotlinkage.

This is where it comes from:

Yeah, I just re-highlighted the URL in the address bar and pressed ENTER, and that satisfied them.

Found that workaround when SmallDeadAnimals.com kept blacklisting Yippee-Ki-Yay.us for its large number of hyphens.

Do they make portable holes? The prank possibilities of such a thing would be endless. (Not to mention the revenge possibilities: slide the thing under the car that parked across two parking places at the grocery store, and hey presto, you have two usable parking places and one Special Snowflake who’s got their comeuppance)
