Washed out

Today is World Naked Gardening Day, and it’s been raining since about one in the morning, so I regret to announce that there’s not going to be a whole lot of official recognition of the event here at Surlywood: it’s not, after all, “World Naked Falling Into The Very Cold Mud Day.”

    Wow. It’s raining here, too, and my back fences are fallen over in spots, so I think I’ll take a pass on the celebration for today. That, and I’m quite sure that the folks next door at City Hall would appreciate or understand.

    Pouring in Sonoma as well, but I’m still out planting corn and sunflowers. Now you tell me it’s Naked Gardening Day. If I’d known, I’d have saved a load of wash.
