Involuntary Tulsan
A number of sites I visit carry the FEEDJIT Live Traffic Feed Widget, and ever since the last time I picked up a new IP address from my service provider, said widget has reported me as having come from Tulsa. Nothing wrong with Tulsa, except that, well, it’s wrong.
To FEEDJIT’s credit, they give you a way to fix that. Until I’m assigned a different IP, anyway.

I keep showing up as being from Oakland. Nothing wrong with Oakland either, but, well, a world away from San Francisco even if just over the Bridge.
In addition, do you find that people from places far from Oklahoma, assume every Oklahoman knows every other one? So for instance, we can all assume you have java and coffee cake with The Pioneer Woman at least twice a week?

I don’t hear that as much as I used to. I do know rather a lot of the state bloggers, but they are outnumbered by the ones I don’t know.

Sitemeter has me in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, which last time I checked, wasn’t just around the corner from Dodge City.
