Since the Gazette apparently has the temerity to take votes for Best Blog this year, I suggest we all vote for Okiedoke while there’s still time.
Besides, any vote Mike gets is one that won’t go to me, which is, as Martha says, a Good Thing.

Mike’s retirement comes as a surprise to me; I’d seen that his posts had dropped off lately, but reasoned that he was fishing Thunderbird or out birdwatching more.
Sure I’ll give him a vote.
Wonder who may take over the Okie Bloggers’ oversight, umm, Charles??

I’ve read Okidoke on a few occasions, generally when directed there from here.
IMO, dustbury is a much better read. But since I have zero writing ability and damn little to write about, I’ve never had a blog and therefore never been able to participate in the voting.
Were I able to vote, however, this one would get it.
