Says here that the Volvo XC90 seats, um, no more than seven:

    Maybe I’m taking this all too literally, or I’m just dense, but I couldn’t make any sense out of this ad. The Volvo is only suitable for dwarves? Normal size people need not order? Driving a Volvo is not a fairy tale? Don’t take a Volvo to Disneyland?

    Help me out here.

    I still think it’s a weird somewhat negative association. Sometimes get so wrapped up in clever, they forget to be clear. Does Snow White get put out because she’s bigger? Therefore the Volvo is only suitable for dwarves, not normal sized people? Or the dwarves are radical gays and don’t want a woman in the car? See, I’m overthinking this thing.

    I just took it to mean the Volvo only held seven people regardless of size, and the Dwarves stuck together. Dwarves, according to Tolkien, are kinda cliquish.

    I’d vote for Grumpy to thumb a ride.

    My Volvo experience is limited to a few miles in a 240, so I couldn’t make any kind of definitive statement on their suitability for dwarves.

    What I want to know is, did they take her somewhere and strand her, and then, hi-ho, head off to work?

    Just shows how they really felt about Snow White. If the dwarves had really wanted to keep her in the car, it wouldn’t have been too challenging to put one over on Dopey, and leave him standing on the side of the road.

    I’m with Kirk. Surely Bashful or Sneezy would be regarded as more dispensable. After all, if I recall correctly, Snow White did their ironing and such.
