Know when to go
There’s a reason I don’t grab that 64-ounce drink at the concession stand before I take my seat in the theater:
There’s no movie-related trauma worse than watching a film you’ve been waiting months for (and splashed out your hard-earned bucks on going to see) and not being able to enjoy it.
If only there were some way of knowing the best time during the film to make a run to the rest room. It might be something like this:
Check Runpee.com before you get to the theater. This site lists the best time to go to the bathroom in a number of movies, including summer blockbusters Angels and Demons and Terminator: Salvation. It may not be the most glamourous of websites, but your urinary tract will thank you later. (Or something).
Better yet, it’s coming to the iPhone, where some folks will surely consider it the number-one app.

My wife and I paid full ticket price when we went to see Star Trek last night, but having just eaten a generous dinner with plenty of free refills we bypassed the refreshment counter.
Had we pulled this stunt during matinee hour we would certainly never be allowed back.
