    I was once told that one of the colleges in the UC system (Santa Cruz, maybe?) was technically a clothing-optional campus. No idea whether that’s actually true or not, but maybe that’s where the searcher could find some of those coeds.

    I’m afraid it’s a complete urban myth that UC Santa Cruz is clothing optional. And if you’ve ever been to Santa Cruz when a chilling summer fog rolls in, you’ll know why. Northern California ain’t Malibu.

    This reminds me of that almost-certainly-apocryphal Mark Twain pronouncement about how the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. The man was from Missouri, fercrissake, and northern Missouri at that.
