And you thought the government spent a lot

There are basically two types of big spenders in Washington: Democrats and Republicans. (Yeah, there’s a smattering of the Officially Independent, but they’re not known for being penurious either.)

They’re pikers, though, next to this girl:

Kids these days! Dale writes, “My lectures about financial responsibility appear to have failed: yesterday [my teenaged daughter] charged $23,148,855,308,184,500.00 at the drug store.” You would think Visa would have caught the error and addressed it, if you were high. What Visa actually did was slap a $20 “negative balance” fee on it, of course.

Upon hearing about this, Goldman Sachs hurried to establish a slush fund investment account for drug-store overdrafts.

    I hope that was some awful nice nail polish she bought. And maybe a new comb, too.
