I’m guessing that Andrew Ian Dodge worked up a bit of a sweat coming up with the 345th Carnival of the Vanities, which he has dubbed “Humdidy.”
It took me a bit of staring — and a Google “Did you mean …?” — to decide that this might have been a variation on “humidity,” or, as a DJ in Charleston, or maybe Ned Flanders, used to say, “humididity.” It’s enough to drive one to the lake, a fairly damp spot in its own right, where I hope there will be a Boston Whaler 345 Conquest waiting for you.
