Yes, it is a slow news day

The fire station near the Oklahoma Health Center in northeast Oklahoma City caught on fire this afternoon.

The crew was, um, somewhere else at the time; officials suspect the fire started in the kitchen.

That proposed new Bricktown station can’t come soon enough.

Update: No equipment was damaged, and no one was injured, but crews will have to be transferred.

    Meanwhile, in Oklahoma……

Who do the firefighters call when their station catches fire? At least they didn’t have to drive far to get to the scene of the blaze, and there wasn’t much chance of getting lost en route…
